Numbers & NewsLithium carbonate price around $10,750 USD. PFS used $9,500. Hydroxide has a premium. As of now, CYP is somewhere in the ballpark of 35% IRR and 1.5B USD NPV for the same subset of resource used in the PFS.
Value is about 50-60% greater, just due to Li pricing. Should any chloride success happen, and price rises a wee bit more... we are looking at around 40% IRR with 1.9 Billion NPV. For nearly a 2x value gain over the PFS (1.052B). News is needed though.
*This is with an estimation of 25-30% reduction in opex with 50M less for capex costs and around 12K Li pricing (an extra grand from where we are today roughly). Remember, the PFS has 27K tonnes a year of LCE but hydroxide can be produced with less, allowing for more - around 30-31K tonnes a year.
NEWS IS NEEDED.
