Most people that have their finger on the pulse of the deal to deal are aware that the floating shares are higher risk than the fixed.

A triggering event could cause rapid explosiveness in shareprice of both Canopy and Acreage when the US investors pile in more than they have already.  This could also turn the screws on Acreage to get branded products to consumers and the way I see it Acreage is going to be Canopy on steroids.  All of that IP and recipes will be available to Acreage as well as Constellation's money making magic and business sense.

It is a perfect trifecta of well financed savvy business people waiting for the immunity idol to show us their cards.  Canopy will assume Acreage and grow to the right size to handle the US marketplace which is 10x Canada's.  

I don't think investors are seeing the big picture of Acreage or don't believe that the US will sort out their marijuana business to decriminalize it and get the tools in place to finance it and grow it.  glta and dyodd
