The Five Nines

The Five NinesI see that some people are getting impatient waiting for a press release regarding production. A lot of us have a lot of money tied up in Excelsior so it's understandable.

For those who are traders rather than investors go chase some of the high flyers. I think long-term investors know they have a good thing here and are willing to wait things out.

Of course, the big question revolves around questions of productivity and quality. I'm expecting the quality to not initially achieve the goal for "five nines". Maybe a little less. But so what, the SX/EW plant has been idle for about six years. Some contamination is understandable because of this. It should be a haircut of a few cents per pound.

As the bugs get worked out, Excelsior will run like a good Swiss watch. Copper will be produced at nameplate capacity and everyone will make a lot of money, in my opinion.
