James,
As I mentioned on the phone, we are changing our approach to identifying potential trial customers that are within a mile or less of our initial facility near the high school. I plan to contact the businesses in that area to offer the 30-day trial free of charges unless they decide to keep the service. All it takes is to mount a 12’ x 12” antenna outside and run a cable into the building. There is a small power supply and a router to connect to the internet – that’s it! We will offer the trial to no more than about 10 businesses and or residents. I already have one residence that has agreed to the trial.
Below is a list of the businesses that I believe we can easily service. If you have any contacts at these businesses that you can refer me to please let me know. I went over your email distribution list and it looks like David Minchew at Elastotech is the only applicable contact out of the names of businesses listed below. I will use his unless you tell me otherwise.
We want these trial customers to have outstanding high speed internet so we will select them carefully. Some of them are close to the Loop so they may have better service via fiber optic cable but I’m betting most of them have less than desirable service and would be happy to try our internet access.
