RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Ferndale -- undervalued Hidden Jewel?Let me apologize for Stockhouse most useless text editor.  THe URL was  not accepted by the text editor  but  the  editor  doesn't tell you that.    Now  you know bad Software....

You'll  need  to cut and paste  into a  new window  to get the google map  street image.   All else is the same in regards to get the satellite image. Enjoy  the picture.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Ferndale -- undervalued Hidden Jewel?
I  noticed  that the stockhouse  editor  has blocked  the satellite image.   Must be stockhouse cannot  be liable  for  "bad taste in images"  so  the editor blocks  the image prior  to posting.   So  I will  circumvente the  editor  buy  posting  the url   and  the readers  can zoom in and out of  the image  to see the surrounding landscapes.  Notice  the VLGC on the wharf.   Notice  the railyards  and  LPG tanks and compressors.

My question to  the forum  is how is H2  treated.  Can H2  be categorized  as a LPG?LNG? or  a  whole  new categorary  needed?   I wouldn't be surprised if H2  is allowed  to be exported through Ferndale.

To  view  the Petrogas facility click on the url.   A google map  will  appear  in a  seperate window.  The map  is a street view  of the Petrogas facility.   THe next step is  to  .....click  on the satellite  image on the bottom left   of  the google street map.     The google  map  should redisplay the satellite image of the Petrogas facilty.  You can pan left/right/up/down on the map  or can zoom in/out to  gain more detail.       GLTA

RE:RE:RE:RE:Ferndale -- undervalued Hidden Jewel?
Let  me provide  the forum with a  satellite image (10 mile altitude) of  the Ferndale Petrogas  plant.   (google provides  these things  for free.....since  the image is about 3 years old).   Off  topic...... cities accessors  ,  roofers,  land developers  use  an updated version with recent images  to  view changes to peoples  homes, land areas  roof lines.  Funny story,  roofer gave me  an estimate of  the cost to replace my roof tiles  by  just looking at the google image.....calculates sqft..... roof angles  ...etc. Roofer never left his office to look at my home.

Anyway,  in the image  one can see the BP  refinery at the top of the image,  Going down the image, next is the Alcoa Smelter and Pier .  Next to the smelter is Petrogas .  If  you look  closely  you can see a VLGC being loaded at the Petrogas/Smelter Pier.   Below is  the Philip66 refinery and its  pier.  One  can notice  lots  of  room  for expansion..... pier and lands .

SInce I  am  by trade a RF engineer.... how does the forum treat Hydrogen  gas?  Can  it  be considered a LPG/LNG  or  will there be a  new category for this gas?  I  know Japan want lots of H2/Canada wants  to develop H2/Alberta has lots of H2.

Agreed.  Looks like it's good for LPG, but they have to go through Item 3 for the gravy.  Not sure what the timeline on the process is for that, but it's probably long.  The only mitigating factor is that with the Smelter closing, they might have some pressure to restore jobs to the area.
