While taking a shot at short positions is a fun sport. In reality the higher the short position the more that will need to buy back as  VET's fortunes improve even more than is shown so far.
The reason that VET's fortunes will improve is precisely caused by this self same phony green agenda. The choking off of investment funds has caused a tremendous decrease in drilling activity.
As far as I know you cannot produce OIL and Gas without drilling and you cannot create renewable energy without very significant long term investment.
The only disappointing thing in my view is that the number of short positions in both the commodity markets and the share markets have already fallen substantially since last spring !!
