I agree - I am a Sangoma shareholder, and the big difference is though, they announced the acquisition, and then had a hastily arranged conference call about it, at which point management indicated that the stock would not trade for a few business days.  At least that was communicated.  For Protech, there's been nothing.  And given that the call was supposed to be today, that adds even more unease.  You would think if it was an acquisition they would have announced it by now
