Excitingthis whole Redditt issue and the unscrupulous scrambling done by Robinhood who took it upon themselves to be judge jury and executioner, undoubtedly influenced by their masters, the hedgefund manipulators, who didn't like getting a taste of their own medicine. This whole shenanigans is almost unbelievable and shines a light on some very serious problems that need to be adressed to stop this deck stacking that deep pockets and poor fools dare to play. Big money hedgefunds and marketmakers have dealt themselves a fistfull of Aces and got caught. The trillion dollar question now is what are the SEC and Democrats going to do about it. The way I see it is the hedgefund guys packed up their game which was tantamount to holding a gun to the little Wall Street guys to relieve them of their hard-earned equity that they won fair and square. I'd be happy to see short selling abolished forever but the next little while should be interesting to see what the SEC and watchdogs do. Probably get whacked with some multi-million dollar fines that will go to government coffers so they can say they did something and penalized that type of behaviour, all the while benefiting from it with a cash influx.
Biden needs to deal with this and the little guys need to win this because the stock market is the harbinger of things to come. Nobody wants to play against a stacked deck and manipulation by deep pockets. Even those deep pocket guys!
I have serious concerns about Canopy's US MSO Acreage Holdings Company's shareprice beat down that seems to me to be way undervalued, possibly by the same tactics that hedgefunders and big money use. I'm pretty sure those short players didn't get the special dividends that Acreage shareholders got with the last one for the re-deal being directed to shareholders of record. I would take that as our parent company is on this and has a plan and sent a clear warning to the sheister parasites.
At the current price of Canopy shares and with a triggering event to launch the biggest greenrush the world is going to see, it looks to me as though Acreage fixed are for sale at a great reduction and the floaters should follow suit, but that is jmho. glta and dyodd
