RE:RE:RE:Whats going on??I agree, but speculation tends to cause most stocks to pop more than actual numbers. The company guidance gives people something to finally speculate on. Though we certainly need to contain our speculation within reason or people could possibly be disappointed when the financials are released. However, there is no doubt the year-over-year financials and quarter reports will blow last year out of the water.
Clearly instiutions will play the speculation game without solid numbers. We only need to look as far back as the cannabis sector to see that. But with that said, I agree as an investor you certainly want to see the hard numbers. However, when you compare CBDT with other stocks in their sector or the various sectors that CBDT covers, it is amazing how much it trails their counterparts. So many of those companies don't even have any revenue coming in, no future prospects (or at least none as substantial as CBDT) and yet CBDT's market cap is lower. Add in a Six Sigma certified CEO and a fantastic team behind him and this is why I am disappointed in the current share price. If there is one thing that I've learned over the years of investing, great management is key to the long-term success of any company... and CBDT has it in spades!
I know deserving has nothing to do with investing, but this company certainly deserves better given what Steve and his team have accomplished with how little had to start with. In only one year mind you! I can only imagine what he will be able to do with the current war chest behind him. I think that is worth speculation and deserving of a higher share price.
