This is very true.  I am on many different calls from different companies and only once did I ever hear an individual investor ask a question - or he/she was permitted to.  I think companies know that if they limit it to the analysts, they are probably not going to get a question out of left field (as good as the question would be) - I can't imagine any analyst asking why Proctor doesn't hold any shares, though I would love to hear that.  Generally they would be somewhat softball questions.   Besides, given what the board and management have received from various shareholders, I doubt that they would be willing to take general questions from retail investors.  I do like the idea of reaching out to the analyst firms to incorporate some of our questions.
