The link you posted for ceo.ca is surrounded by a discussion on the uncertainty of the BNXA margins. The fellow that posted data from Sept 2019 of 1.8% and Sept 2020 of .70% is using margins from the companys' f/s. The challenge is that one stream of transactions earns a certain percent while another stream is earning an entirely different percent but the streams are co-mingled in the f/s. Its not clear what the margins are looking at the f/s because historically, they jumped around alot and co-mingle high and low margin business creating lack of clarity. The present margin that you are using might be right, however, I think its 3% is very much on the rich side ( an opinion ). From the many different sources I looked at lately, I have come to the conclusion that there is margin compression in the industry thus, whatever the margins are today, going forward, they will be lower because the industry is very competitive which has lowered margins and will lead to lower margins for all going forward. Originally I was using 2.5% as the margin, however, I feel much more comfortable with 2.0%. I re-call seeing a BANXA document that showed 1.9% on the fee schedule for lower margin business, however, I could not find it prior to writing this. The real point I feel very comfortable in is the fact that margins for BNXA are unknown at present. We shall see when they present f/s. I hope 2.0% is too low, however, I not want to use a higher percent at this time due to, at present, lack of clarity from BNXA and industry margin compression now and into the future. Naturally, you can you 3.0% as you please and I not being critical when I say it. We are each making an estimate. GLTA
