The colas are were the bud is. The lower part of plant, is usually bare. Or that's what growers aspire to do to give more strength up top. But am sure would be selective in regards to secure the larger parts of cola so appearance wise more saleable. They wouldn't use leaves, but cld use lower parts of cola for hash.
