RE:RE:RE:Future Expansion
There is a line in there which makes the point they had to buy in the open market, just inferring from there because Highland had this problem even under Biome management. Last time I spoke to them it was in excess of 500 kg a quarter before the prairie provinces were added. Coastal compounds that demand. Statement shows great margins and they are still selling in excess of $7 a gram. I really want to know more about brand awareness and sales rank per province. Highland was number 2 overall in NL a few months ago. I have no idea how they could generate enough news to have a monthly report. Every company files one anyway with the CSE. My biggest concern is the ongoing deal where the CEO is compensated as the prime lender. Biome, despite failed ambition, just like MYM, were always about running a lean tight ship. They are not keen on rabid expansion. Thats why the new MYM under Mike Weiner's direction needs to be looked at more through the lens of its partnership with Biome as he was the former director. To have the purchased company (Biome) place one of their own in a position of control leads me to believe they had the upper hand in negotiations. MYM effectively had nothing for years. They sorely needed a brand and distribution channels. I'm at a loss to find any major LP who is consistently releasing premium strains at 23+%. Their biggest competition is black market pricing. Coastal addresses that issue and I expect next quarter will better reflect those sales. Again, would be nice to see a breakdown of premium vs value and each province. Profitability has been a great success despite some creative accounting. Small and steady is the way and I can find countless $100+ mill MC companies who have nowhere near the brand and sales to justify. Market sales lead me to believe more accumulation happening just like Oct-Nov.
