You say a lot of things that seem to make sense but don't really pan out. Just a week ago "short sellers will win..." not saying there isn't logic to things but with these early game stocks like DDC they don't follow the usual rules. They aren't mature stocks with predictable earnings, expenses, etc. DDC could potentially be worthless in 5 years or worth $40. As the likelyhood becomes more or less likely things change rapidly. 

Take the volume/increase in institutional investing that has happened. No model could have predicted that. The fact is, will this stock make it? If so, the current price will be a joke. 

 

Keep modeling all you want. The fact is many pros will make money here and many will lose money. I just think the long term investor who "holds the line" will be well rewarded.
