You mentioned in a previous post that there are strategies for preventing one's shares being borrowed from your accounts to be used in a short sellers's scheme or if you prefer the term Elon Musk uses, scam.

Here it is from Investopia. There are several other hints on how to stop the manipulation of your own stock against you the owner of that stock.

" All you do is to put an order in saying that you wish to place your shares for sale at, for arguments sake, double today's price. As they are 'on order' they cannot be lent out by your broker and in turn you are reducing the amount of 'free shares' out there that can be used for shorting purposes."
