RE:Boom! I have traded BGA for some time and I have to say, MrWB, you are missing some important pointswhen condemning VitaFiber. It is a natural sweetener, a non-GMO dietary fiber for better digestive health. It has all sweetness of sugar, is minimally processed with the oligosaccharides passing to the colon to be fermented by bifidobacterium spp., which is a good thing as far as I can glean as long as you have bifidobacteria in your gut.
This FDA thing about its effects as a laxatant and cholesterol reducer is to me a sideshow in terms of its value to BGA. If it was deemed to be good for those things it would be even more valuable but the jury is out on these factors simply because BGA have not succeeded in sufficient clinical trial data to sufficiently confirm these benefits. Still, even limited success on these two fronts would, imho, increase its value as a natural sweetener, etc. Please tell me if my conclusions are errant.
