First thing first. Oil will peak around 2035 at 106 million a barrel a day. That's 15 years of continuous growth. That takes care of transportation. How about consumer products, roads, plastics, tires, medicine, etc...?. How about maritime, military, aviation? Your argument is about a decade to early. I suggest that instead of throwing around cute green slogans educate yourself. California is not the US and definitely not the whole globe. Think first before you speak.
