RE:RE:You all are missing the point Every barrel from Syncrude is SSB and it receives a premium to WTI , I believe they produce about 400,000 brl/day . The world needs $60/brl and production has responded to support that price . Suncor's assets will be working for decades to come and regardless of what some people say , the world will continue to used oil and gas . This is still a great long term hold and at this price , its a steal .

That's not the prices being paid in the future on the future's curve. Prices being paid for May 2022 are back around $50 and longer term the price is significantly below $50 as shown in the link.
