RE:RE:RE:$1000/ounce silver?We can now put to bed any more talk of shorts having any imeaningful impact on the price of this stock. The short position for end of January just came in. So;
there were 26.8 million short sales in the month of January
Like Clubhouse pointed out they represented about 40% of all activity
However the net result was a reduction in the short position of 1.4 million shares to roughly
.7% of the total shares
The short sellers are not committed, which means that they have no directional bias to the future of the company. If they did then they would not have closed their positions ( bought)
They are mostly likely hedging for short term purposes.
I only mention this to make sure that no one on this board thinks that short sellers are our problem with the share price not being higher than it is now.
Clubhouse, this is not to say it cannot be in some instances , it clearly does happen.,but it is not the case here.
This would be a very poor candidate for a predatory short attack.
Ha ha..
42% of volume during the last 2 weeks was short traded and you call that not heavily shorted ??
O'S short position is meaningless
You are certainly clueless as to how canadian markets work in controlling prices by hedge funds and professional traders..
