Possibly. But a lot of investors in Canopy Growth don't seem to be invested in High Tide. I don't know for sure of course, but High Tide gets one or two comments a day on r/weedstocks which suggests a lot of people are focused primarily on producers.

However, High Tide is already profitable and CGC has never turned a profit. Their prices have been moving more independently lately as well, just look at Friday's movement. High Tide was up 30% and CGC was down 2.79%.
