RE:RE:RE:Time to bring back the semi annual dividend policy BigWillie is right. 10 cent dividend equates to a roughly %5 yield. I think EstevanOutsider kinda hit it on the head with the 5 cent semi annual divvy, however I don't see them bringing it back until we really see an uptick in activity and margins. I would really like to see some better Problem with companies paying dividends is once that capital is gone, it's gone. I would way rather management keep focusing on the long game and keep buying back shares. As much as I would love to get paid to hold my position, I'm in this for the long haul and, as a shareholder, dividends would almost feel like a consolation trophy or something..idk LOL. I don't care about making a couple g's every 6 months, and management shouldn't either, unless it's to the companies bottom line. I don't think paying divvys will attract more attention. Let the balance sheet do the talking.
With that being said these guys better get back on their horse and start buying back shares. They should be maxing the NCIB almost everyday. Stop worrying about buying back 10 or 20 cents to high because I don't think we will see these prices again after q3/q4. IF ANYONE IS READING THIS THAT WORKS IN THE TRICAN MAIN OFFICE, TELL MANAGEMENT TO STOP TRYING TO PLAY MARKET MAKER. BUY BUY BUY
