Last Friday...

Last Friday...Last Friday as I watched the price of WTI trend higher, I pulled the pin and bought more shares at 3:59 pm.  Very glad the buy order was for more WCP.  WTI is up over $58 as I write... WCP is up another 21 pennies while CPG can barely hold green.

The leadership in the entire Canadian E&P sector (and especially CPG) needs to wake the F up if they hope to persist their gravy trains.

People not invested in Canadian oil need to see that average shareholders are making money and not just elite insiders.  Greed, FOMO and general public support will kick in IF and ONLY IF management and boards begin spreading more of the wealth.  When Canada's E&P sector pays out dividends some sitting in high flying tech stocks and others will realize there is greater opportunity for wealth elsewhere.  They will jump into the sector and it will snowball.

In the meantime, companies should not waste anymore time trying to appease the leftist green idealists. There is nothing Canada's E&P sector can say or do that will ever appease them. Give up!  Direct company energy and resources elsewhere. The reality is the world runs on oil and gas and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Change management theory 101... Focus on your supporters and early adopters (ie, current shareholders).  Make it a positive experience for them and they will in turn speak positively and help convert the masses.

Everyone thinks people are paying crazy sums of money for shares in TSLA, SHOP, APPL, FANGS, etc... because they are the future.  The reality is it's simply basic greed, FOMO and people wanting to be financially free.  Canada's E&Ps need to start showing that investors can become wealthy by owning oil/gas companies WHILE the green new deal tries its best to replace the current energy sector.  The reality is they can't.  Let them play their games and waste money on media campaigns.  Counter by flowing real money to shareholders and making it known people are getting wealthy.  People will change their opinion and come running back. THIS IS THE WAY.
