Primary Symbol: PHO

The investment seeks to track the investment results (before fees and expenses) of the NASDAQ OMX US Water IndexSM (the underlying index). The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its total assets in the securities that comprise the underlying index. The underlying index seeks to track the performance of companies that create products designed to conserve and purify water for homes, businesses and industries. The underlying index may include common stocks, ordinary shares, American depositary receipts (ADRs), shares of beneficial interest and tracking stocks. The fund is non-diversified.

RE:RE:I like itJust a minor correction, PHO doesn't make optical sensors for driverless cars. Driverless cars use a combination of optical and radar/lidar to sense their surroundings which PHO does not manufacture. Driverless cars do, however, require alot of electronics and semiconductor chips.

The majority of PHO's revenues come from the sale of fiber-optic sensors for the Semiconductor industry. These sensors go into the fabs that create the chip/wafer and allow the OEM to increase the yield of the fab. This is a high area of focus for OEMs as the node structure of wafers shrink, the cost of failure increases so fab efficiency is very important.

Case in point is Intel who are not able to achive a profitable level of efficiency with their 7nm and/or 10nm nodes.
