A big step in the US CBD market is likely the imminent 1st step.   150 mil is likely for a 75 to 100 mil acquisition in Q1 or Q2 at latest in US.   This market will move fast and Fallows did recently say 2021 will exit "a different" company that entered.

A take out would need to be $6 per share minimum and give management further upside in the new entity.  They are too experienced and yet too young to walk away-- they want Valens at $20 eventually so a take out would need to provide them that upside opportunitiy.

Reverse take over of a larger entity is possible, but a more likely scenario are some further CPG acquisitions at 4 x, 5 x or 6 x  vs  the 20 x or 25 x (or much higher) as seen in the MJ market acquisitions.

Every body has an opinion, this is mine.   It is a safer bet vs poison pill theories.

I like the way you're thinking, and I agree that what you've described is the most likely scenario. It's one I'm hoping for as well. Let's get into the US ASAP, in advance of changes to federal law down there.

The only thing I can't figure out is why did ETFMG buy a whack of shares, only to sell most of them 12 days later and take a million dollar loss, just before and immediately after Valens capital raise and announcements. Probably a mystery I'll never have a good answer for.
