Sixth Wave Innovations Inc SIXWF

Sixth Wave Innovations Inc. is a Canada-based nanotechnology company with patented technologies. The Company is focused on the extraction and detection of target substances at the molecular level using specialized molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). The Company’s product brands include AMIPs, IXOS and Affinity. The IXOS is a line of extraction polymers formulated for deployment in the gold mining industry. The Affinity system is using its MIPs, which are designed to capture and extract cannabinoids from filtered crude extracts without the use of traditional winterization and distillation. The Company’s patent portfolio covers extensions of the designs for extraction and purification of other critical metals including nickel, cobalt, rare earth elements, and platinum group metals. It also designs, develops and commercializes MIP solutions across a spectrum of industries.

"AMIPs changes the calculus and has the promise of being immune to relatively minor mutations of the outer shell of the Virus since it is not based on antigen/antibody binding," said Dr. Gluckman."Moreover, multiple variants or multiple different viruses can potentially be tested on a single test strip providing greater flexibility and lower overall costs to the healthcare system. This potential all-in-one feature, along with the speed at which novel mutations can be added, makes for a flexible and obsolescence resistant platform, evolving in tandem with new pathogenic threats."

Forget the mask idea. The AIMPs test strips are the solution. Anyone know if it works with samples  of breath, mucus swab, blood, etc?

Bvukmanic wrote: How much will it cost to manufacture a MIP and incorporate into a mask? Margins? Rapid LFA tests can cost less than $1. Might be less expensive to buy N95 masks and test every day, than what they are proposing. Is their MIP mask more effective at trapping particles than a N95?
