RE:RE:RE:RE:Air Canada cuts 1,500 more jobs and cancels 17 more routesthe issue at hand is Canada is lagging behind in vaccinations compared to all advanced economies and starting to fall behind underdeveloped nations(see India donating millions of vaccines to neighbours who cant affod vaccines).

I have been extremely positive on AC but i think there is cause for concern here as while other airlines return to improving revenues AC may end up lagging behind as restrictions stay in place longer here. This can have a significant impact on route market share and long term recovery implications.

Canada is looking like it might be dealing with the serious levels of the infection far past many other countries in the world. This has a serious affect on cash burn and debt management and could push the airline into dilution and impact future share price levels.

Not liking the recent moves nor do i trust the bail out terms that will be presented or the long term outlook for vaccinations in this country.

Might be time to take a breather on this one.
