Excerpt from Stockwatch Gold-TodayHonorable mention, nice results in the big scheme of things?
Keith Henderson's Velocity Minerals Ltd. (VLC) got up some speed today on the heels of assays from its Obichnik project in Bulgaria, adding three cents to 52 cents on 671,000 shares. The company hit 17 metres of rock averaging 2.55 grams of gold per tonne in the Durusu zone, an interval bolstered by a seven-metre stretch that averaged 4.2 grams per tonne. At the Premka zone, a 1.8-metre interval returned 33.08 grams of gold and 16.63 grams of silver per tonne, testing dikes that previously produced 15.8 grams of gold and 76.72 grams of silver per tonne over six metres. More drilling is under way.
