RE:Hype over ?Hey Rocky,
I've accumulated this stock for years, my average share price is 6 cents. Some of the old guys here will remember me. I sold bits of my holdings at 10 cents, 12.5, 15, 17 and finally at 19.5 cents, keeping a core position that I began to add to at around this 10 cents price.
If not for Covid, the development of this mine would be a long shot. The Catholic church and many locals do not want to see it developped, not to mention the eco folks. But given the deplorable economic and financial position the PH is in (i..e reduced tourism), I suspect the open pit ban will be lifted. They just don' t have a choice anymore. But this is a corrupt land, so many palms need to be greased regardless. Also, as the price of copper and gold continue to rise due to global monetary inflation and fiat debasement, the opportunity cost of this mine looks better and better and finally won't be ignored.
I'm not an expert, but you can see the "selling" volume over the past several sessions is declining. So most of the big selling was done higher up in January. That takes pressure off the stock and may allow a move higher up in time. I noted a decade ago that SAU moves with copper more than with gold, and dr. copper is exploding higher.
Bottom line, like I said many years ago, this is a long dated option. It's paid out for me nicely. Nexty time it pops, i suggest selling part of your positions into the rally for one never knows.
Good luck my friends,
Robert
