RE:Underground Gold Resources versus Oxide ProportionSelinsing has 746,000 ounces of Sulphide gold below its pits.
Selinsing has produced just over 300,000 ounces of oxides from its pits .
It should be remembered that these sulphides have been drilled to less than 125 meters below the floor of Selinsing pits and remain open at depth.
Perhaps sulphides will continue to be found in the basement rock down to 500 m or more.
We don't know because those depths have not been drilled by our retired management team.
In any event, a ratio of 3 underground ounces for every open pit ounce seems like a good rule of thumb.
You would think that management would be gung ho to drill below these pits to extend the mine life of Biox.
Obviously that is not the case.
Afterall, Monument is their private company so what business is it of ours to disturb their 10 year siesta.
