ProMIS Neurosciences Inc PMN

ProMIS Neurosciences Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. It is focused on generating and developing antibody therapeutics selectively targeting toxic misfolded proteins in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and multiple system atrophy (MSA). Its proprietary target discovery engine applies a thermodynamic, computational discovery platform-ProMIS and Collective Coordinates-to predict novel targets known as Disease Specific Epitopes on the molecular surface of misfolded proteins. Using this approach, the Company is developing novel antibody therapeutics for AD, ALS and MSA. Its product candidates are PMN310, PMN267, and PMN442. The PMN310 is a monoclonal antibody designed to treat AD by selectively targeting toxic, misfolded oligomers of amyloid-beta. PMN267 product candidate targeting ALS. PMN442 is a drug candidate being developed for MSA designed to selectively target and protect against pathogenic a-syn species.

RE:RE:The "science is great" - based on what??

Don't know if anyone ever had a chance to watch  a great, slow paced sci-fi movie called "PRIMER" from 2004 which was about some college grads inventing some gizmo that allowed them to time travel by short periods.

What impressed me the most from this movie was the attention/effort placed in explaining the science behind time travel and why it was possible, to the extent that by the end of the movie, it had me convinced that time travel was actually possible, even though I had absolutely no clue what they were talking about. It just sounded so great!

So every time I go through PROMiS's overview of their science/portfolio/pipeline, I'm in awe of how this info is all layed out there with quasi simplified A-B-C explanation of how and why it will work.....JUST LIKE TIME TRAVEL I SUPPOSE, NO?

Keep the faith!
