PERNOD 1ST HALF EARNINGS STATEMENT OUT

Pernod released its 2nd half earnings statement today. Did not mention Corby or Wiser's at all - but did say that its total sales in Canada were up 8% year over year from the preceding year - and also its sales in the US were up 5% year over year for the same period.

All of Pernod's Canada sales go through Corby -- so Corby should likely be doing fine when the 2nd quarter earnings come out -- results should be released soon. We shall see.

Still think this company is a hidden gem. Tremendous value.
