The powerful retail investors

The powerful retail investors

I sold my entire position of Aphria few days ago then the Reddit folks targeted Tilray with short interest near %50, these two companies are supposed to merge and as per their agreement the name of the new company will be Tilray and each Aphria shareholder get some 0.84 percent of the new company's shares.
Therefore both companies SPs have been moving in the same direction since the announcement of deal.
Both companies SP almost doubled in matter of two or three days and now both are down heavily as the Reddit folks moved on.
Now of course we don't want that to happen to THTX but my point is nowadays the retail segment seems to overpower the institutions.
