RE:You'll never make everyone happyTop, you are correct.  A better ratio for 7G shareholders would have been optimal but we need to keep in mind that most of last year 7G shares were trading under ARC's level so I'd say this isn't a "bad" deal but I wouldn't rate it as a great one (for 7G shareholders) either (especially if WTI stays above $55 for the foreseeable future).  I also would have liked to have seen an overall  management upgrade of the merged company (i.e. entirely new CEO, CFO, COO etc.) as I think the only executive worth his salt at either end of the table is Hal Kvisle.  The upside is that it's going to pay a dividend (been waiting since 2016 for that) and they're going to become investment grade allowing them to access cheaper capital and save meaningful dollars on interest costs on their existing debt.  For what it's worth, as a long suffering 7G shareholder, I give the deal a B to B+ rating.
