RE:Valens Company Receives License Amendment To Sell Dried CannYeah, I noticed in one of their recent operatonal update, they mentioned "pre-rolls", and I went, wtf, why do they want to get into the business of selling pre-rolls??
Then they say "this licence amendment allows The Valens Company to distribute next generation dried cannabis derivative products across Canada". What's a next-gen dried cannabis derivative? Hash, crumble, shatter?
I thought they were already producing and selling that stuff... but maybe they were only producing those products for their licensed customers, and now they can sell the same stuff directly to retailers under the Valens label?
Yeah, that must be it. And with their lowest-cost operating model, by cutting out the middle-man, they'll be able to offer a combination of price and quality that will be hard to beat.
OK then, I like this announcement.

The company this morning announced that it has received an amendment to its sales license, enabling the sale of certain dried flower products.
