TIXT IPO Effect on Telus

Well …. I cannot figure out why the IPO of TIXT added no value to the share price of Telus. The share price of Telus is now exactly the same prior to TIXT IPO was announced.

What benefit did the existing shareholders get from the IPO?   What is the justice to existing shareholders to watch a successful IPO launch and have zero benefit in its launch?

Perhaps Telus management might want to think about this question …… why should big institutions/brokerage houses be the only benefactors in the release of the IPO?

Anyway sold small position in Telus at 27 and brought it back at 26.40.
