Earnings Assessment

Earnings AssessmentRevenue of $2.87B matched estimates, but EPS of $3.18 was 35% better than forecast. Return on equity was a solid 18.4% v 12.5%. Net investment income rose 0.7%. The RSA acquisition is progressing well and on track for a Q2 close. It plans to raise its dividend but currently cannot due to regulatory restrictions. It was a solid quarter and at least 10% growth is expected in 2021. The stock has been flat, but we would expect a better year.
