RE:Canada carbon offset protocols

RE:Canada carbon offset protocolsI was shocked, and a bit dismayed, to read this environmental law insights article and not see a single mention of RNG.  Collect the biogas from organic waste signs and to be flared and destroyed.  Are you kidding me?  This is insane.  Hook the biogas into a Biostream and you have instant RNG to send anywhere the existing natural pipeline can take it.
My vision of the future large Truck Plaza:   It is fed by the existing natural gas infrastucture which is carrying RNG that has been produced using Xebec's biostream or other RNG equipment.  The filling station has a HyGEAR unit, or two or three depending on volume, that takes a proportion of the incoming RNG to make Green Hydrogen.  There are three types of Renewable Fuel pumps at the station for refill times comparable to present diesel fueling.    1.  100% RNG for vehicles using 100% RNG as fuel.   2.  A pump with a mix of RNG and Green Hydrogen in order to further minimize the already Near Zero Emissions.   3.  A pump with 100% Green Hydrogen for Fuel Cell cars and trucks.  Go ahead and throw in a few electrical charging stations for electric vehicles.  Just hope that you're not third in line to use the charging station.  A 45 minute recharge suddenly turns into a 2 hour and 15 minute ordeal.    RNG is Carbon Negative and Near Zero emission.  The organic waste site has an inexhaustible supply of waste.  The Biostream unit offers RNG production to small waste sites that are not economical to develop using larger Xebec units.   Mass produce the Biostream on an assembly line and you drastically cut the cost of the unit as opposed to on site construction of an RNG producing facility.   Green Hydrogen produced on site with HyGEAR.  Minimal distance transport of hydrogen from the HyGEAR unit to the fuels pumps with hydrogen safe pipe infrastructure.  No massive new infrastructure to safely store and pipline transfer hydrogen from a distant wind/solar farm.     Am I missing anything?   It can be done.  It has to be done.   The lives of our grandchildren depend on it.
