Athabasca Oil Corporation (AOC) is a Canadian energy company with a focused strategy on the development of thermal and light oil assets. AOC’s segments include Light Oil and Thermal Oil. The Thermal Oil segment includes the Company’s assets, liabilities and operating results for the exploration, development and production of bitumen from sand and carbonate rock formations located in the Athabasca region of Northern Alberta. It also consists of two operating oil sands steam assisted gravity drainage projects and a resource base of exploration areas in the Athabasca region of northeastern Alberta. The Light Oil segment includes its assets, liabilities and operating results for the exploration, development and production of light crude oil and medium crude oil, tight oil and conventional natural gas. Its Light Oil segment consists exclusively of the Duvernay in the Greater Kaybob area with about 155,000 gross acres across Kaybob West, Kaybob North, Kaybob East and Two Creeks.

RE:RE:The question of $100 oil is only WHENThere will be a niche market for EV's but only that. It was a new and very well popularized and desirable product but as people learn more and more about it they understand their flaws. Even in Germany they learnt that when you have cold weather not only you have range anxiety, you have temperature anxiety that if in winter months you turn your heat on your range gets closer to the golf cart and not to the diesel car that they are used to. Combine it with long charge time it becomes a super annoying inconvinience. They also try electric buses all over Europe and in some N/A cities, it just doesn't work well. They have to put diesel or gas heaters in order not to lose the range during the cold weather. All it is is pain in the rear. 

They need to bring diesel back to North America and give subsidies for diesel hybrid's engine, that way at least we can deal with growing oil demands.
