I'm thinking it's good news but the sp will be affected negatively, at least temporarily. Been wrong many times however. If good news then I believe this will make the stock more attractive to potential buyers and anybody shorting this will be all too anxious to run it down. If you're shorting you want people in the mood to buy and good news is the opportunity, an easy sell. Sounds crazy but seen it many times.
