Banyan Gold Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the business of exploration and development of mineral property. The Company holds three main projects in the mining friendly Yukon Territory: AurMac Project, Nitra Claims and Hyland Gold Project. The Company’s flagship asset is AurMac Gold Project located in the Mayo Mining District. It has earned a 51% and 75% interest in and has the right to earn a 100% interest in each of the Aurex Property and McQuesten Property subject to certain royalties. The AurMac Project covers over 173 square kilometers (km2). The Nitra Gold Project is located in the Mayo Mining district, approximately 10 kilometers west of the AurMac Gold property, within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun. The Nitra Gold Project has around 1,442 claims (296 km2). The Hyland Gold Project consists of 927 active Yukon registered quartz mineral claims totaling over 18,620 hectares in an area that is road accessible from Watson Lake.

Ms. Christie has over 20 years’ experience in the exploration and mining business. She became the President and CEO of Banyan in 2016. Prior to that she was the President of privately owned Gimlex Gold Mines Ltd. (2006-2016), one the Yukon's largest placer mining operations and was involved in consulting for exploration, mining, environmental assessment, government, community and First Nation relations, including working with First Nation development corporations. She is currently is on the Boards of Constantine Metal Resources Ltd (since 2006) and Klondike Gold Corp. and Western Copper and Gold. Ms. Christie has been a board member of PDAC, AMEBC and other industry associations and was a founding board member of the Yukon Environmental and Socio-Economic Assessment Board (2004-2016). She is active in non-profits and charities, including being President of a charity “Every Student, Every Day” that works to improve attendance in Yukon schools. Ms. Christie has B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of British Columbia and is a registered professional engineer in BC and Yukon.
