RE:Explane Typical process that I've done in the past. Perforate the zone, Install bottomhole pressure guages, do a short clean up flow for about an hour or so to see cleaning up stable flow. Typically can then move off the service rig Shutin for ~10x the flow period. Then conduct the actual flow test. If you flow for 3 days then the ideal case would be to then shutin for 10x the flow period but normally nobody wants to wait that long so then it's a debate 3x, 5x based on knowledge of the reservoir, history...how much data does one want to collect. The longer that you leave it shut in the farther you can see into the reservoir for changes in properties. The welltest is measuring kh/u (permeability x height /viscosity). Assuming visc is constant hence any changes typically are kh related. So it because of this shutin period where they're collecting the shutin pressure data that then in best practice you move to the other well and do it's test and then back and forth. If you've got three separate tests for each well it takes time. Hence imo be patient....it takes time to get good data. Hope this helps,
