Pyrogenesis Canada Inc. vs PYR - Why it mattersHello friends, it has been a looooooooong time since I have posted anything more than responses or dribbley-drool here. My trading accounts are beginning to look laughable by my standards, with all 5 of my holdings returning 200+% each over the last 12 months. While I do not expect it to last forever(wouldn't that be something??!!), I do expect to have another year just as good, or perhaps better going forward.
HERE'S WHY:
There are so many ways to make money using the stock market, however, there are very few that dependably produce wealth. Buy low and sell high, seems to be the most basic idea, and in it's essense, it is the bulletproof way to find personal wealth. But how do you do that? How do you know the price is low enough to buy? How do you know it is high enough to sell?
PYR - Shareholders
Some people have shares of PYR, buying when it seems to be low, and selling when it seems to be high. Giving money to the tax-man each year as their share of the gains, watching charts and spending valuable time looking for entry and exit points. These folks are traditionally driven by the dollar, and tend to worry more about external factors that could influence share price, like nasdaq listings, timing of news releases, and float levels. These folk tend to be looking for an "exit point" that they can jump off, and run like hell feeling like they robbed the buyer of their shares.
Now, I love good news releases, and good news in general, but any share price gains they create for the most part are attributable to market sentiment... And when the market needs money to pay rent, sentiment goes away very quickly. They tend to buy for the purpose of profitting and selling, and kudo's to them if it works for them. They will sell when the market overprices the shares, and we may never see them agagin afterwards.
Pyrogenesis Canada Inc. Owners
Some people have purchased ownership shares of various amounts in Pyrogenesis Canada Inc. The share price was determined by auction on the stock market, and holds a value that is in comparison to the true value of the stock(as determined by the new owner). These folks are less interested in news releases and uplistings, and more interested in the reason for the news release, or how the company is managing it's cash intakes. As business owners, they do not like to see their money wasted, and they desire for each of the businesses projects to be completed on time and efficiently. They love hearing about keeping valuable employees employed through tough times, and love knowing that the company has taken steps to patent a new product they have created or discovered. Owners typically prefer to sell and leave the company when the company is no longer being managed appropriately.
Do Pyrogenesis Canada Inc. owners sell some shares sometimes? Absolutely!
Can traders of PYR stock be long? Absolutely!
Is one better than the other? Not at all, although you can probably tell which direction I like to lean.
During these times, when the share price is much higher than it has been in a long time, the urge to sell and take profits might be very strong. I hope during these times we all tend to think like owners of Pyrogenesis Canada Inc. and only sell some of our ownership if we absolutely need the money, because I promise, I PROMISE, that the owners know that this is but a grain of sand on a very large beach.
I hope for prosperity and health for everybody here, short, long, or high frequency, but today, just for a moment, consider ownership ;)
Cheers!
