Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Great Partners

Great PartnersI know a few medical cann users and they have been saying for years that Tilray is a standout producer and even reminisce about past specific batches lol. It was between them and Aphria as to where I put my investment and went with Aph. When I heard about the merger I had no reservations at all. The two companies complement each other perfectly and both have the reputation of overall quality that other large lps can't match and smaller lps can't achieve at large enough scale to fulfill demand. The runs may get carried away here and there (will get crazy around actual merger date) but with overall financial signs improving I feel optimistic. Curious to see what share price will be around June or so post-merger.
