Echelon sold $75,000 of shares, to buy $19,000 of warrants... Meaning they can see a much higher return warrants compared to shares?
I can't say for them but for myself, I re-equilibrate my portofolio when a stock moves up creating a new ratio per stock. So I reajust the portofolio to avoid having too much exposure for a single stock. Selling and buying many different type of stock or other financial investment like warrants creates diversity and also gives you liquidity for quick support in case of pullback.
Yesterday markets were red so could also be they needed some fresh cash to buy some other stock that got a beating. Selling a stock doesn't mean they have a negative sentiment, it's just a wise and smart way of playing with so many financial possibility to create more wealth.
