It's part of a $50 million tax payer fund to support innovative companies with new tech (Covid related) get their products manufactured and into the market. In this case it will support 68 new employees (something that should be followed up on) and will be a one time payment. So not a contract and remains to be seen if it will spark renewed demand for this technology.
Of course, tech like this is only worthwhile if data is collected and recorded for those people actually tested. JMHO from reading the Ontario government report.
