RE:RE:Conifex Board Member added to Mercer BOD

Good catch on this. I'm not impressed with any of the CFF board, but I guess she explained that fiasco away.  I always suspected she brought more insight into power deals with the Bc Hydro background.  And if I'm Mercer I don't need to build one when I can take out Conifex on the cheap.  It's good optional it's for their mill in Peace as they can truck chips there as needed.

Hopefully something is afoot. The issue is Ken has disprotionate and unaccountable power to block deals not on his terms with the poison pill.  I think that should go, but there's so many other governance issues here it seems like they are not even trying anymore.  Hopefully this name goes away quickly.

if I'm Mercer the most i would pay is $300m. Current EV is $150.  So anywhere in that range is likely agreeable. BWC all howl for breakeven but they appear to be useless passengers, and have only the single board seat so it's not like they can hold things up. I'd take $4.50 a share in heartbeat.

Here it's a varient of the adage, changing to "Ken can maintain irrational leadership and defy common sense for much longer than you can stay... not solvent, but sane"
