RE:RE:Looking real good
my guess is 2.25Moz. The 1.4 Moz is in the company documents as being measured, indicated and inferred. Going to open pit alone should bring it up to 1.8Moz easily, which is the lower threshold for the updated estimate, based just on multiplying the open pit component of the original estimate over 400m to the new open pit 2km long. However, there has been much more drilling and this has probably expanded the deposit and the amount of gold that will be included. Atlantic gold got taken over for around 450 per ounce of gold in the ground, but the gold price was much lower at the time, around 1400 us per ounce. As well, they were further along in mine development and permitting than goldboro is. At 450 per ounce, it would value goldboro around 900 million. But the closer we get to production and the more gold is found in the unexplored ares of the claim, the more valuable goldboro or anx would be. Not everyone is as optimistic as I am.
