If it continuse to go up, you'll replace the money and have some cash to add shares of something else. Bulls make money, bears make money, but there is a good chance pigs lose a good piece of gains. Buying is easy--selling is real hard because greed is a feature of our species. Maybe goes back to our early ancestors who often didn't have enough to eat and those who survived general periods of starvation were those who were greedy with food.
