investment thesis for summeralso reposting to @dontwrack s last post: thanks first of all for sharing my opinion about the warrants, @dontwrack.
Just wanted to make it clear though that the main investment thesis for Trevali short term (till June/July) is them skipping the "going concern" wording which will allow most investment funds to re-invest in Trevali. The number of warrants still out does hinder the stock price to rise substantially right now imo, BUT this will change once you have only one or two major investors buying themselves in here again. Once you have a fund buying sth like 10 M shares the outstanding warrants wont matter anymore, as first of all they will not be ALL exchanged/sold, some investors might keep them to speculate for higher prices and second, volume with substantial buying will outpace any selling once you got major funds investing again.
At the moment imo it is a perfect setup for smaller investors: we all about know the coming results are positive and the company isnt threatened by insolvency anymore, but will be profitable in all 2021 and 2022. BUT major funds are still not allowed to invest until the "going concern" wording has been officially skipped. AND we kinda know when this will happen: next Thursday.
So I m not looking for a positive immediate reaction to the numbers, as warrant sellers might use it to cash out - but the major investment thesis is funds buying step by step in the next weeks and months. So imo it is not a stock I would short in the next weeks and months as we are definitely in an uptrend for zinc and Trevali - but of course, thats everyones one decision.
