*This is one of the most impactful and positive paragraphs for me considering its at least news/activities from just over the last 6 weeks.
*It's still mind boggling that they are having difficulties getting financing in the lowest interest rate enviornment that I can remember, they had better hurry because if rates start rising in the next 12 months as they are expected to things will only get tougher.
"As of December 31, 2020, Western Potash’s Phase I project team has taken over operations of the hot mining system which is pumping at full capacity with the submerged combustion brine heating system fully operational. Hot mining recirculates brine through the caverns and preferentially extracts the potassium chloride (“KCl”) leaving the sodium chloride in place underground. During the hot mining operations, potash is being built up in the crystallization pond. When the processing plant is complete, potash will be extracted from the pond with a dredge, processed and transported off site. While there have been a number of startup issues, all equipment involved with hot mining is now fully operational, and the mining is progressing well. All other site infrastructure projects (gas, power, water, roads, telecommunication) are complete."
